actually it's more like we had cupcakes in our oven :).
Last weekend the kids and I made some cupcakes. With their hands washed and their aprons on they were eager for some Ready, Set, Cook!
Filling the cupcakes proved to be quite a challenge!
Once they were out of the oven we decorated them with - of course - some chocolate and especially for my daughter, we also topped a few with some pink frosting.
Did you notice how a princess holds a cupcake?
Of course 'just' chocolate doesn't quite do it for us, so we added a little finishing touch: chocolate sprinkles, grated coconut or some chopped up hazelnuts... all of which had to be taste-tested naturellement.
Well, my future sure looks bright with two little chefs in the house! (Now if we could only make cakes that had 0 calories!!!).

Cupcakes are one of my favourite things. I can't wait till my daughter is old enough and she can help me make some.
It looks like you had so much fun together. What a great activity to do with your precious ones. I think decorating would have to be the best part of all.

My kids love making these to. If only they were calorie free though.........
