They arrived just in time to be included in a custom made gift I made for an American friend of mine who left today (!) for a little holiday break back in the States. She requested a small purse for her godchild and wanted a ladybug and something 'Belgian' on it. I couldn't find any embroidery designs that resembled Belgian chocolates, waffles or French fries (yes, I know they are called French fries, but Belgium is actually also very well known for its fries). This is what I came up with (I ended up using the Belgian flag):

She was very pleased with it, I just hope the little girl and her parents will like it too. It's larger than the little purses I've been working on for my Etsy shop and has two handles instead of one (making it more a small tote rather than a purse).
I'm hoping to be able to take some really nice pictures of my little purse (of which you've already seen a peek) tomorrow so I can upload it on Etsy. Afterwards I hope to be able to make and upload some more purses but with different designs. So many ideas, so little time...

Hi Tania
What beautiful business cards you have, they look fantastic.
Mia is one lucky girl to have that tote. If she is anything like Savanna she will adore the ladybug. I think that Mia will feel very special with her one-of-a-kind bag that no one else will have (how special is that!!). I love personalised, unique, hand made pressies - so precious.
Tania, thank you for your response about the Sarah and Abraham blog. What a small world it is in blogland. I'm glad that you came across her.
Good luck with getting your purses made. Looking forward to seeing your Etsy shop grow and grow.
Love and hugs
Elise
