The kids went egg hunting yesterday. It didn't rain so the Easter Bunny left the eggs in our (tiny) back yard - at 5.30 am (yawn...) -, nicely wrapped with blue and pink ribbons. I do believe they set a speed record: According to my watch it took them less than 2 minutes to gather all the eggs. Luckily they kept searching a little longer, making sure that they had every single one, because otherwise the photographer (daddy) wouldn't have been able to get any decent pictures: man, did they move fast.

The hunt was actually already over by the time daddy was able to take the above picture.

And here's my son with some of the loot and his handmade Easter Bunny hat. Gotta love crafty kids!

I could just drown in his big brown eyes (and they draw my attention away from the chocolate he's holding ;-)

It's amazing that it can take a while to strategically place Easter eggs in all sorts of hidey-holes and only seconds for the little ones to hunt them out.
I can't wait until my little girl is old enough for us to have an Easter egg hunt - they are such fun for the whole family.
