Blushing

When I was searching for pictures of Anna Popplewell (aka Susan Pevensie) for my Narnia movie post, I came across the following words describing Anna: "wonderfully prone to blushing".

Well, that would be a thing she and I have in common, but I would not describe it as a "wonderful" feature. I can usually tell when I'm blushing which makes it even worse. I go from a slight shade of pink to a dark shade of red in no time. And since my skin is as pale as Snow White's I can't hide it (not even behind my freckles).

Of course blushing occurs when you really don't need it. Why can't it happen when you're behind the computer all by yourself watching these adds for some irresistible lingerie with the appropriate name Blush?

Nope, no blushing.

No, it mostly happens when I'm speaking in public or when I'm being introduced to somebody. If that 'somebody' is cute I'm even more prone to blushing. And the sentence "There's no need to blush" has, to my knowledge, never diminished the blushing. On the contrary.

So there is no powder-blush in my make-up bag. Never had it, and my guess is, I'll never need it.
