Robin will be leaving on a three day farm holiday with his classmates tomorrow! They'll be sleeping in bunkbeds, taking care of the animals, doing nature walks and bake their own bread (which they'll have to eat for dinner, so they'd better pay attention!).I have Wednesdays off which means I'll be able to go and wave him goodbye.
Yikes. This means he'll be gone for two whole nights. He's only ever been away for two nights in his life, and now he'll be gone for two nights in a row! But... I know he's going to have the time of his life there (despite the gloomy weather forecast) and that makes it OK for me too (see how I'm trying not to sound like the overprotective mother? I don't think I'm doing a good job though ;). I think I'm gonna go and put some bandaids in his bag. You know. Just in case ;)

Oh Tania ~ I am sure that your boy will have a great time ~ it sounds like alot of fun.
I do however know exactly what you mean ~ Daniel is going away with the school for a week in June ~ 5 whole nights away ~ I will be a nervous wreck ha ha !!
He assures me that he will be fine and I know that he will!
These steps are so hard I know ~ but it is all part of growing up ~ us mothers can do nothing else but sit back and worry!
Love and big hugs Tab XXXX
I just know that Robin will have a great time with his friends to even notice that he is away from home!
As Tabitha has said ~ it's all part of the growing up process. And it's our job as a Mum to Worry!

Hahaha you can never have enough Band-Aids ;D
In fact, I usually have half a box in my purse at all times. You know...just in case.
I bet you he'll be just fine, and that he'll have a marvelous time!! That's really neat that he's going to be "working" on a farm. It should be a pretty cool experience for him :)
