Back in da house

The boy is back! A little bit smelly and with a trolley full of muddy clothes (I swear it weighed 5 kilos more than before!) but happy and content. He did say he missed us but after some hugs and a little bit of storytelling, he asked if he could turn on the TV... I guess he missed that too ;).

The homemade bread turned out ok, but the vegetable burger that went with the french fries was gross (so the boy says). They stayed up late and the boys slept on the first floor so he complained about the girls not having to run up and down any stairs. I didn't get much more out of him, so I can't give you any more info. I suppose I will find out more during the coming weeks.

Today is mother's day. I woke up to some lovely presents from my lovely family:
From my son: my very own personalized tote bag!
Handsewn and please pay attention to the tiny blue dolphin he added :)
From my daughter: a 'liefdesbord' (or love boardgame)

Roll the dice and find out what chores your child will help you with (I'm going to write a thank you note to the teachers, I think this is the best mother's day gift ever!)

And from my dear husband: another book by Stephenie Meyer.
More sleepless nights are ahead ;)

Happy Mother's Day!

Glad you had a lovely Mothers Day ~ the gifts that your kids made are great! Handmade gifts are the best.
I bet your glad to have your son back ~ now that he is washed and less smelly! Boys never tell you about anything ~ mine are exactly the same!

Love,

Happy Mother's Day!

Glad he made it back safely.

And, you'll have to let me know what you think of The Host. I only got 10 pages in and put it down.

Your gifts are just wonderful ~ how sweet!

I am wondering if the book is 'The Host' by Stephanie Meyer ~ if so, I have just read it and it is very good ~ you will love it!

Hope that you are well, love and hugs Tab XXXX
