Ballerina Girl

I had a little surprise waiting for my daughter when she got home from school:

The teacher had told us that the kids could bring a towel to sit on while doing their floor exercises, so I made her a personalised towel. Mummy was showered with kisses and cuddles, so I take it she liked it.

My son, chatting up the teacher... (not really, he was actually inquiring about the radio)

Coming over to give me a kiss and to tell me:

"Mummy, I LOVE ballet!"

(I had a little photoshop fun with this one)

She loved it so we'll sign her up for the trimester. I tried to upload a little video, but Blogger doesn't recognise the format, so these pictures will have to do.

Oh Tania I am so glad that she liked the classes ~ Lauren goes to ballet on a Saturday morning. I know that Lauren would absolutely adore one of those towels ~ will you be selling them in your etsy shop? If so, let me know ~ because it is her birthday in November and I would order one for her.

Very very cute!

Can't wait for Nora to start ballet... she will need her own personalized towel, of course!

Hi Tania

Caitlin looks gorgeous in her new ballet outfit. How special to have a personalised towel made by you - very sweet. Nothing compares to a beautiful creation made by your mum.

It's wonderful that she enjoyed her first class. I often wonder if Sav would like to do ballet when she is older. I did jazz and tap when I was younger for years. I still have an interest in dance today and really enjoy any kind of dance performances.

Your post about time is love is so very true. It makes me stop and think about my life right now. Sometimes I let little things get in the way of what is really important and I lose perspective. Your post was a beautiful reminder to enjoy the precious times with your children.

Tania, I was wondering if you ever received the email I sent you regarding Blake's present?

Lots of love and hugs
Elise
