Neglect

Yes dear blog, I have neglected you...
and I'm feeling so guilt-ridden about not visiting my favorite blogs. So, I offer you all my apologies.
But now, enough with the "feeling guilty" post. Nobody's interested in reading that, right?

So I thought I'd start with a picture:

I made this drawstring bag for Caitlin's swimgear and she said that she loves it! Yay! I also made one for Robin. He requested two little dolphins (sorry, I haven't taken any pictures of it yet).

There are 4 more weeks of summer holiday and then school starts again on September 1. It'll be the first year that Caitlin goes swimming with her class. As a mom who only learned how to swim when she was 10 I'm a bit worried about my kids swimming adventures. So she had lessons in July and she can now officially swim all by herself! And I feel a little less worried :-)

So, I guess I'm off to a good start for August. One blogpost and two bags. I feel less guilty already ;-)

Hi Tania

I think we all have those blogging breaks and we feel less than inspired to post or comment. Your blogging mojo will come back when it's good and ready!

Oh, I love that swimming bag you made for Caitlin. Would you ever consider selling these in your Etsy shop. This morning Savvy told me that she looooooves mermaids. Such a perfect design for a girls swimming bag, I can see why Cailtin would adore this bag.

It must be a relief that Caitlin is confident in the pool and that her swimming lessons have meant that she is now fairly independent in the pool.

I hope that you all enjoy the rest of your summer holiday and get to indulge with loads of ice cream.

Tania, thank you so much for your heartfelt well wishes. I appreciate them so much.

I've been blogging less and less to ~ just haven't been in the mood either.
That swimbag is nice, I think you should consider selling them on your Etsy shop. I think it's so important that children learn to swim as I'm afarid of the water and can't overcome it enough to learn to swim! I wouldn't want anyone growing up like that.

Hope you are all enjoying the summer holidays.

Hi Tania! I've missed you out here in blog land... don't feel guilty though, we all get busy, especially in the summer... If anyone should feel guilty it is me... I still have a birthday card sitting on my kitchen counter that I purchased for you in 2008! I promise to send it out this year!
