The postmen have been on a strike for the past three days. It's weird waking up and coming home to an empty mailbox, for there is no paper in the morning and no mail (or bills!) by the time we come home.
The strike is supposed to end this evening. I wonder how many bills there will be tomorrow.

Let's hope that when the mail does arrive it is full letters that you are happy to see.
Savanna gets so excited to check our letterbox every afternoon. I don't think she would be too happy if the post man went on strike.
