Valentine's day without my sweetheart

Amongst other things, I got this CD for Valentine's day from my sweetheart. I have a soft spot for Disney so I needn't say that he hit home with this present.

There's one song on there called 'Candle on the water' but I couldn't think of the movie it belonged to. Good thing that CD's come with an inlay: apparently it's from the movie "Pete and the Dragon". Wow, that really takes me back to my childhood. I was just a little girl when I first saw that movie.


The theme song from "Beauty and the Beast" is one of my favourites. Unfortunately it's not Angela Lansbury singing it. I think she really brings this song to life. And of course her voice takes me back to the many episodes of "Murder, She Wrote" I watched when I was a child. Oh, the days...

Anyway, as for the title of this post: yes, unfortunately I have to spend the evening without my sweetheart. The positive side is that he actually started a Photoshop course and that I can't wait for him to show me everything he learned!

And it gives me some time to blog...
